Five Steps to Your First Run
Open the homepage and click Play
Go to the-false-sun.com. You will see a large game frame near the top of the page with a central Play button. Click it. The game loads inside the page — no download, no installer, no account.
Click to advance dialogue
Use your mouse, trackpad, or touchscreen to click through the text. Each click moves to the next line. There is no timer and no fail state, so read at whatever pace feels right. If a line lands oddly, read it again.
Enter or Space to advance. Press Esc to exit fullscreen.Choose when prompted
When the dialogue offers three or four choices, pick the one that fits how you want Silas to treat you. Each choice nudges the story toward a different ending. There is no “wrong” answer in the moment — only different paths.
Use the Endings Tracker to keep score
After you finish a run, scroll back up to the Endings Tracker on the homepage. Tick the box next to the ending you reached. The tracker saves your progress to your browser and shows a running counter and progress bar across all 20 slots.
Replay for the other 19 endings
Close the game and reopen it to start a new run with different choices. Each playthrough lasts 30–60 minutes. After three or four runs you will have seen most of the tier system; after eight to twelve runs you will have ticked every slot.
Device & Browser Compatibility
The False Sun runs in any reasonably modern browser. Desktop and tablet give the best reading experience; mobile works fine in landscape with the in-page fullscreen button.

Tips for First-Time Players
Read slowly
The False Sun is built on the small details. Lines that sound casual on a first pass land differently when you replay. Take your time.
Let the save happen
The game auto-saves to your browser. You can close the tab and come back. No manual save button needed.
Use fullscreen
For the most cinematic feel, hit the Fullscreen button under the game frame. Press Esc to exit.
Sound is optional
There is no required sound. If you want music, turn your system volume up low. If you do not, the story reads fine silent.
Restart freely
Do not be afraid to restart after the first run. The endings tracker is built to encourage replays, not punish them.
Mature content
The False Sun is intended for adults. Expect emotional pressure, uncomfortable dynamics, and themes that may not be suitable for younger players.
