1. Nature of the Portal
The Portal is an unofficial, non-commercial, fan-built website. It does not sell games, does not charge for access, and does not host downloadable installers. Each game page embeds a playable build that is streamed directly from the original developer's server through an <iframe>. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the original developers of any game embedded on this Portal.
The Portal exists for three reasons: (1) to make the games easy to launch in a browser, (2) to provide plain-English descriptions, screenshots, and FAQs, and (3) to help players discover similar horror visual novels.
2. License to use the Portal
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Portal for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Reproduce, redistribute, or republish the Portal's content (text, images, layout, code) without prior written permission.
- Use the Portal to train machine learning models, scrape for commercial datasets, or feed it to any automated system at scale.
- Mirror the Portal on another domain or present it as your own work.
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or otherwise interfere with any security or access-control feature.
You may, however, link to any public page of the Portal, share screenshots of your gameplay (with credit back to us and the original developer), and quote short excerpts for the purpose of review or commentary under fair use.
3. Intellectual property
All trademarks, game titles, characters, art, music, and story content remain the property of their respective original creators. Our Portal content — including our original descriptions, FAQs, OG images, layout, and code — is owned by us and is protected by copyright.
If you are a copyright holder and believe content on the Portal infringes your rights, please contact us at the address on the Contact page. We respond to legitimate DMCA-style requests within 72 hours.
4. Game content and third-party developers
Each game embedded on the Portal is owned and operated by its original developer. The developer is solely responsible for:
- Game design, story, art, audio, and balance.
- Save data, progress, and any in-game state.
- Updates, patches, bug fixes, and downtime.
- Customer support related to the game itself.
If a game does not load, crashes, or behaves unexpectedly, that is a developer issue — please use the "Open in New Tab" button to access the build directly. We are not responsible for the availability or behaviour of third-party builds.
5. Advertisements
The Portal displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. These ads are not endorsed, controlled, or reviewed by us. The presence of an ad does not constitute a recommendation. We do not sell any product or service advertised on this site, and we are not party to any transaction you may enter into with an advertiser.
Advertisements are how we cover hosting, bandwidth, and maintenance costs. If you would like to support the Portal without seeing ads, please consider supporting the original developers directly.
6. User conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Portal for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Portal, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Portal.
- Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Portal for any purpose without our prior written consent, except for legitimate search engine indexing.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Portal or the servers or networks connected to the Portal.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other code of a destructive nature.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Portal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Portal will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Any content downloaded or otherwise obtained through the Portal is done at your own risk, and you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from such activity.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Portal, its operators, its affiliates, or their respective directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Portal.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Portal and its operators from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Portal, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Portal at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Portal will cease immediately.
11. Changes to these Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be announced with a banner on the home page for at least 30 days. Your continued use of the Portal after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Portal's operator is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
