The False Sun Hidden Stats

Agility, Bravery and Convincing are community route labels, not developer stats. Here is how strong each one actually is, the farm and pier patterns behind them, and the honest gaps nobody has closed.

 Play the Game

There is no stat screen

The False Sun does not show a visible stat screen, a point counter, or a formula. Yet endings clearly react to things you did hours earlier in the run — so the community has been tracking three hidden numbers by brute force. They are labels, not developer-published stats, and their evidence strength is not equal. Reading the evidence level before you follow a route will save you a lot of wasted runs.

Strongest community evidence

Agility

Multiple ending routes connect doing farm tasks yourself with higher agility and assigning or skipping work with lower agility. One route report also uses an under-6 threshold.

How to use it: Choose a high, low, or exact task-pattern direction before the first farm mini-game.

Still unknown: The game exposes no public meter, no exact gain per task, and no verified universal threshold table.

Moderate community evidence

Bravery

Eyes routes connect the pier and the memory questions with higher bravery, while You Should Have Been Braver connects avoiding the pier with low bravery.

How to use it: Keep separate pre-pier saves for high-bravery and low-bravery tests.

Still unknown: No public point values, no complete choice list, and no confirmed minimum for each ending.

Weak / incomplete evidence

Convincing

One route note says You Were the One Who Closed the Door needs high agility and high convincing. Another ending uses a specific farm-task pattern, but that does not prove how convincing is raised.

How to use it: Treat convincing as a controlled test variable and follow the full ending pattern rather than guessing a number.

Still unknown: No repeatable raising method and no visible value is documented in the public evidence.

Agility: the clearest pattern

Agility is the most reliably documented of the three, because farm work is a clean lever you can set deliberately at the start of a run.

The pattern matters: the high-agility endings are You Will Always Remember (#2) and You Were the One Who Closed the Door (#6); the low-agility ones are The Truth Does Not Always Save You (#3) and He No Longer Believes (#7). A medium-agility run lands on The Cage Really Was Golden (#4).

Bravery: useful, incomplete

Bravery has moderate evidence and a clean fork. The Eyes route is repeatedly associated with taking the pier and asking the memory questions; You Should Have Been Braver is associated with avoiding the pier and reaching a late courage check. Keep two separate pre-pier saves and hold your farm and relationship choices constant while you compare them.

There is no public point table, so nobody can tell you that one particular question adds a fixed amount. That is fine — the fork is enough to route your saves.

Convincing: a named requirement with no known method

Convincing is the awkward one. The strongest public clue says You Were the One Who Closed the Door (#6) needs high agility and high convincing. A different route — You Were Not Convincing Enough (#5) — uses a very specific farm-task pattern: perfect cattle herding twice, skip egg collecting and feeding, then play along at the three-choice scene.

Those two facts do not prove how convincing is raised. If a route naming it keeps failing, follow the complete pattern end to end and record every difference. Do not infer a point gain from an ending title.

Do not publish a convincing formula

There is no verified method. If a guide tells you convincing needs exactly three specific dialogue picks, that guide is guessing. The honest position is stronger for SEO and for players: say it is unresolved, point at the full route, and give them the save that makes the test cheap.

A controlled test plan for a blocked ending

  1. Start from the earliest save connected to the suspected condition. For Agility that means before farm work. For Bravery, before the pier. For Convincing, use a clean pre-farm save because the raising method is unknown.
  2. Write down the target ending, the save origin, the task results, the pier choice, the relationship responses, the swimming branch and the final reply.
  3. Change exactly one thing between attempts. Two changes means no result is attributable.
  4. Downgrade any claim you cannot reproduce. If a threshold does not hold on your third attempt, it is not a threshold.

Frequently asked questions

No. They are community route labels. The game shows no stat screen, no point counter and no published formula. Agility has the strongest repeated evidence, Bravery has moderate evidence, and Convincing is the weakest.

Agility. Multiple endings connect the farm-work pattern with high, low, or exact-pattern routes, and one route report even gives a numerical threshold (under 6).

Do the farm tasks yourself. The community pattern is consistent: doing farm work yourself raises Agility, and assigning or skipping the work lowers it.

Nobody has published a reliable method. One ending route explicitly calls for high convincing, but no repeatable raising choice is documented. Follow the full ending pattern and treat convincing as an unresolved variable instead of guessing a formula.

An earlier farm task, pier decision, relationship response or timed input is still different between the two runs. Reload from the earliest suspected checkpoint and change exactly one variable.

Play the Game

The game is free, runs in your browser, and needs no download, installer, or account. A full run takes about 30–60 minutes depending on how fast you read.

Before you follow a route: official game facts and player route notes can differ. The ending count and the in-game gallery are confirmed by the developer's itch.io page for Oniray's The False Sun; the per-ending triggers, reload checkpoints and evidence levels come from community-tested route data. The game ships no visible stat screen, so Agility, Bravery and Convincing are community route labels rather than developer-published values. Treat a single retry as a test, not a guarantee.
