Seventeen of the twenty endings
Almost every documented route in The False Sun runs through Silas, so his route is the game. It is not organised into acts with a tier lock — it is a chain of scenes, and each scene splits a small number of ways.
The whole structure comes down to four decisions in sequence, and then the late timed and navigation branches on top of them:
- Who does the farm work — you, Silas, or a mix. This sets your agility direction.
- Do you take the pier — the bravery fork.
- What do you say after the puzzle — the nightmare scene, which splits four endings.
- Which way do you go at the barn — the late survival and failure paths.
The six branch points
Every Silas ending below hangs off one of these. Each card shows the ending number, the checkpoint to reload from, and the trigger itself.
Swim-scene branch
Checkpoint: Before the swimming scene
Seven endings split here, mostly by agility level. The pattern: do the farm work yourself for the high-agility endings, let Silas handle it for the low-agility ones, and only some farm tasks for the medium one. The final response after running decides which of the reply options you land on.
You Will Always Remember
The Truth Does Not Always Save You
The Cage Really Was Golden
You Were the One Who Closed the Door
He No Longer Believes
Wounded Lamb
Your Place Was Never Beside Him
Post-puzzle branch
Checkpoint: Before the post-puzzle dialogue
Four endings split at the nightmare scene. Say you had a nightmare, then the story asks whether you stay in bed, try to leave, or simply accept. The four endings are the four ways that goes.
He Stopped Hoping
You Became a Hostage to Your Guilt
You Made Your Choice
He Took Away Your Freedom
Barn and path branch
Checkpoint: Before the barn / path choices
Ask about the barn after the puzzle, then navigate. Correct paths lead to the late survival endings; wrong paths are Rake (#13), a failure-path ending that is still worth collecting.
You Should Have Been Braver
The Water Does Not Let Go
Rake
Knife branch
Checkpoint: Before the knife scene
Grab the knife, then deliberately miss the timed RUN input. He Was Faster is the only ending that needs a timing failure rather than a success.
He Was Faster
Three-choice branch
Checkpoint: Before the three-choice scene
You Were Not Convincing Enough needs a very specific farm pattern — perfect cattle herding twice, skip egg collecting and feeding — and then playing along at the three-choice scene.
You Were Not Convincing Enough
Relationship branch
Checkpoint: Before farm work and each relationship cluster
He Let You Go runs the full affection chain with every farm task given to Silas and the pier refused. The longest chain in the game.
He Let You Go
How to work through the Silas endings efficiently
Save before the first farm task, then build a separate save for each branch point as you reach it. The swim-scene branch alone covers seven endings from one save, which makes it the highest-value branch in the game — start there.
- Start with the swim branch. One save, seven endings, and the agility direction is the only variable separating most of them.
- Then the post-puzzle branch. Four endings from one save, and the four ways of answering are quick to test.
- Then the barn and knife branches. The remaining four, each a single save.
- Leave He Let You Go for last. It needs the longest chain, so you want the rest of the gallery finished first.
Frequently asked questions
Seventeen of the twenty. Only #9 You Promised to Come Back is Kyle-focused, #10 Eyes is a mixed route, and #20 Cast has no established route at all.
Four, in order: who does the farm work, whether you take the pier, what you say after the puzzle, and which way you go at the barn. The knife timing and the path navigation come after that.
Seven: #2 You Will Always Remember, #3 The Truth Does Not Always Save You, #4 The Cage Really Was Golden, #6 You Were the One Who Closed the Door, #7 He No Longer Believes, #8 Wounded Lamb and #19 Your Place Was Never Beside Him. They are separated by agility level and by how you respond after running.
Four: #1 He Stopped Hoping, #15 You Became a Hostage to Your Guilt, #17 You Made Your Choice and #18 He Took Away Your Freedom. They separate on the nightmare reply, whether you try to leave, and which response you give.
No. Cast (#20) is unconfirmed and its leading community test is in the opening animal tutorial, long before Silas appears. The Ending 20 guide covers it separately.
